Our Story

Six degrees of separation between you and the farmer who grew your coffee

The name "Flat Six" comes from the idea that the best coffee has no more than six connections between the grower and the drinker. We cut out the middlemen, build direct relationships with farms in Ethiopia, Guatemala, and Colombia, and bring those stories to every cup we serve.

Our roastery sits in Denver's Highland neighborhood — a community that values craft, conversation, and showing up fully. That's the energy we bring to everything we do, from the way we dial in our espresso to the way we fold butter into our croissants at 4 a.m.

Direct Trade

We know our farmers by name. Fair prices, transparent relationships, and coffees that reflect the terroir they come from.

Small-Batch Roasting

Every batch is roasted in our Denver shop, dialed in by taste — never by automation. We adjust for season, altitude, and intention.

From Scratch

Our pastries, breads, and savory items are made in-house, daily. No shortcuts, no frozen inventory — just disciplined, traditional technique.
